That was a bitter-sweet goodbye, everyone, thank you so much for sending me off with so many good wishes! While the raindrops on the airplane window might still have reminded me of tears, I'm now, after one day in Chiang Mai, definitely on the happy side of things. Sunshine! And an egg-filled Roti with sugary condensed milk at yesterday's busy night market definitely made my day.  

I also found my Chinese zodiac in a temple, a rather frightened looking monkey and its mischievous friend.
Plus: a big roar and a small yawn. 
 

  
In a couple of hours I'll be on my way to Panya Project. Can't wait to build a thing or two!
